Museums are magic places where one’s imagination flies away and is dissolved with the works one gazes at.
Museums are small islands of peace in the cities.

It came from out of a dream: the dream to be shut up in a museum, and become full of colours, smells and feelings that emerge from the main artworks .To trap the apparitions of what we call the muses.

I wanted to give back an imaginary life to the works born from the energy of their creative and who stand now there as still icones. I wanted to play with sacred artists that I do admire. This is a homage I wanted to pay to those museums and their artists; to men, women and to the dream that are most of the time at the origin of the desire, love and the whish to create.

This work, which centers on a trilogy that involves the museum, the artist that is represented and the “muse”, began on march 2002. From now on, Iworked on 10 museums.
